A Little About the Author

Originally hailing from Brazil, but now residing in Sydney (Australia),  Jonas Paz is a native Portuguese speaker with fluency in English and Spanish. In his spare time, he is fond of travelling, writing poems, socialising, and reading.

The author has been on a beautiful journey where poverty challenges were part of his childhood. Still, through the power of poetry, Jonas has seen and

understood that the world produces poems in every single life experience that all human beings have.

In the movement of birds flying on a beautiful sunny day at the park – I see poetry and I smile.

A friend who cries after an achievement – I see poetry and I smile.

When I receive flowers at the beginning of a relationship – I see poetry and I smile.

In all the hardships life has thrown my way, including sexual abuse, racism, immigration to a new country, and more – I see poetry, I smile and say thank you.
